Al Ikleel Association

A Vision of Inclusion and Equal Opportunities

“
My dream is for people with special needs to live without barriers.
Hamid Zerouali, Founder of Al Ikleel Association

These words from Hamid Zerouali, founder of Al Ikleel Association, capture the vision behind an initiative dedicated to making education, employment, and social participation more accessible to people with disabilities.

In the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region, where people with disabilities can face challenges in accessing education and professional opportunities, Al Ikleel Association is working to turn these barriers into possibilities.

Through inclusive education, professional training, and empowerment programmes, the association supports individuals in developing their skills, gaining confidence, and accessing opportunities that contribute to greater independence.

Edu Solidaire: Making Education Accessible to All

Among the association’s initiatives is Edu Solidaire, a project supported through the TAMURI Programme that places education and inclusion at the heart of its mission.

The project provides a free learning centre for people with disabilities, offering academic support at key stages of their educational journey, including primary school certification, lower secondary education, and the baccalaureate.

Beyond academic learning, Edu Solidaire also offers sewing training for women, language classes, and additional educational support for students.

By combining education with practical skills development, the initiative creates an environment where learners can strengthen their abilities, pursue their ambitions, and prepare for greater social and economic participation.

Turning Support into Tangible Achievements

The impact of Al Ikleel Association is reflected in the achievements of the individuals it supports.

88 Individuals with disabilities passed the national employment examination for people with special needs, gaining access to employment opportunities and greater independence.
100% Success rate among supported candidates in CEP, Brevet, and Baccalaureate school certification examinations.

These achievements illustrate the potential of accessible education and tailored support to help individuals overcome obstacles and reach important milestones.

More than numbers, they represent opportunities to pursue education, enter the workforce, and participate more fully in society.

Through education, vocational training and tailored support, Al Ikleel Association works to create greater opportunities for people with disabilities.

Building a Future Without Barriers

For Al Ikleel Association, inclusion goes beyond providing access to classrooms or training programmes. It means creating an environment where people with disabilities can exercise their rights, develop their potential, and make independent choices about their futures.

By addressing educational and professional barriers, the association contributes to building a more inclusive community where opportunities are shaped by people’s ambitions and abilities rather than the obstacles they encounter.

Its work also highlights the importance of community-driven initiatives in responding to local challenges and creating lasting social impact.

Supporting Social Innovation Through TAMURI

Through the TAMURI Programme, implemented by the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, MCISE, initiatives such as Edu Solidaire benefit from incubation support aimed at strengthening locally driven social innovation.

Supporting locally driven social innovation

Al Ikleel Association’s journey demonstrates how a community-based organisation can translate a vision of inclusion into meaningful opportunities for individuals who too often face barriers to education and employment.

From supporting academic achievement to opening pathways toward professional independence, the association continues to work toward a future where people with disabilities can learn, work, and thrive.

Because an inclusive society is one where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
