Building the next generation of social entrepreneurs
The Dare’Inc Innovation Factory is a unique pre-incubation and capacity-building programme designed to support aspiring social entrepreneurs in the region.
The initiative was launched through a collaboration between Alwaleed Philanthropies, Ashoka Arab World and the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (MCISE).
Its primary objective is to empower participants to develop impactful and sustainable social projects that address key challenges in their communities.

From outreach to pre-incubation
The programme combines outreach, ideation, intensive training and long-term capacity building to help participants turn promising ideas into viable social projects.
Outreach Campaign
An extensive communication campaign identified and engaged aspiring social entrepreneurs and civil society actors with promising project ideas.
Ideation Hackathon
Participants refined their project concepts and explored innovative solutions alongside local civil society actors, leading to the selection of 50 changemakers.
Online Bootcamp
A five-day intensive bootcamp equipped participants with essential entrepreneurial knowledge and practical tools.
Pre-Incubation Journey
A four-month capacity-building journey comprising 32 training days strengthened entrepreneurial skills and supported project development.
Skills for building sustainable ventures
The online bootcamp focused on five core areas needed to transform ideas into stronger and more viable projects.
Developing, testing and presenting solutions
Develop & Prototype
Participants developed their project ideas and transformed them into prototypes that could be tested and improved.
Test in Real Conditions
Solutions were tested in real-world contexts to better understand user needs and validate project viability.
Pitch to Experts
Participants presented their projects before a jury of experts as the culmination of their development journey.
