During the reporting period, MCISE implemented the activities outlined in the work plan under the Dare’Inc Innovation Factory program, fulfilling the following key mandates:
1. Outreach Campaign
- Conducted an extensive outreach and communication campaign to identify and engage eligible participants.
- Targeted potential social entrepreneurs and civil society actors with promising project ideas.
2 .Ideation Hackathon
- Organized an ideation hackathon to help participants refine their project concepts.
- Curated innovative solutions in collaboration with local civil society actors.
- Selected 50 potential changemakers to participate in the program.
3. Online Bootcamp (5 days)
A comprehensive online bootcamp was delivered, covering:
- Business modeling
- Market research
- Financial analysis
- Communication & marketing strategies
- Pitching techniques
4. Pre-Incubation Journey
- Designed and executed a transformative pre-incubation program consisting of 32 training days spread over 4 months.
- Provided participants with in-depth capacity-building sessions to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and project development capabilities.
