About the Program
The objectives of Samim
Samim promotes the strengthening of CSOs’ skills through a proven support methodology. After carrying out an organizational diagnosis of the CSO, a tailored support plan is developed. Collective training sessions and individual coaching are then planned according to the identified capacity-building needs of the CSO.
Unlike Phase 1 of Samim, the funded projects are not “development projects.” In its Phase 2, Samim provides grants to organizational projects whose objective is to finance the organizational strengthening of CSOs, their economic model, or their income-generating activities.
In the face of cities that continue to expand, with growing populations while quality of life and the environment deteriorate, Samim aims to raise awareness among CSOs, their beneficiaries, as well as the general public and decision-makers about the challenges of sustainable cities and the innovative solutions that can be implemented.
